About GalliumPrice.com - Gallium Price Data and Market Intelligence
GalliumPrice.com tracks gallium prices, supply dynamics, and market developments for buyers, investors, and researchers who need reliable data on one of the world's most supply-constrained critical minerals.
What We Do
Gallium price data is scattered. Institutional sources cost thousands of dollars a year. Government statistics lag by 12-18 months. The result: buyers benchmark quotes without current data, and investors make decisions on incomplete information.
We fix that by publishing:
- Current prices - Rotterdam in-warehouse and China ex-works benchmarks, updated weekly
- Price history - Annual data from 2000 through 2026, with the China-Rotterdam spread clearly labeled
- Market analysis - Supply-demand forecasts, geopolitical risk, and Western supply pipeline developments
- Interactive tools - A price calculator, ROI calculator, and unit converter built for gallium procurement and investment decisions
Why Two Prices?
The single most confusing thing about gallium pricing is that two prices coexist: one in China, one in the West - and they differ by over $1,800/kg as of Q1 2026.
That gap did not exist before August 2023, when China imposed export licensing on gallium. Before the controls, the China-Rotterdam spread was $50-150/kg. After them, it blew out to the current level. Every price we publish identifies its geographic basis, purity grade, and source, so the numbers are always comparable.
Our Data Sources
We do not publish proprietary assessed prices. All figures reference primary sources:
| Source | Basis | Frequency |
|---|---|---|
| Fastmarkets | Rotterdam in-warehouse 4N | Weekly |
| Argus Media | Rotterdam in-warehouse 4N / 6N | 2x per week |
| Asian Metal | Multiple | Daily |
| SMM (Shanghai Metals Market) | China domestic | Daily |
| USGS Mineral Commodity Summaries | China ex-works | Annual |
Every price cited on this site carries its source, date, geographic basis, and purity grade.
Editorial Independence
GalliumPrice.com is independently operated. No supplier, trader, or investment platform has editorial influence over the content. Company and product references on this site are factual, not paid placements.
Nothing on this site is investment, financial, tax, or legal advice. Gallium is an illiquid physical commodity. Forecasts are scenarios, not predictions.
